Oliver Bachmann also well-known as DJ Divine
At the age of 16 DJ Divine decided to do an exchange year in Chicago, where he came in contact with Euro Dance & House for the first time. Back in Switzerland, where the house boom just started, Oliver was enjoying the fresh new music and already had a great feeling for future club hits.
That’s when he decided to make his own music, he brought his own mixing table and shortly after that he gave his first gig at the mantra bar in Zug, Switzerland. This turned in to a long term contract between DJ Divine and the mantra bar. After a short while of playing numerous sets and improving his skills, DJ Divine wanted to reach out for more audiences which led him to gigs in clubs like: Pravda, Q, Le Ciel, Liquid, Topas, Dukes, L&G and many more.
In the year of 2008 Oliver decided to get his hands dirty in the production area, where he became quickly addicted to creating his own tracks. Over the time, the tracks sounded better and better and were tested during his club gigs. Tracks like: Far East Movement, Like a G6 ( Divine Remix ) or GAU ( extended Club Mix ) are available on many forums and his official site where his tracks have been downloaded over 5’000 times.
In the summer of 2010 & 11 he was able to play in front of 3’500 Party people at the biggest pool party in Switzerland “White Pool Party (Basel)”. Not only that but he has also created his own party label ( http://www.divine-events/.). In the Summer of 2011 Divine reached another milestone, and was taken non-exclusively under contract with the major publisher Sony/ATV & Andy Prinz Publishing whilest working with the vocalist Sierra Tequila on the debut album which will be released in late 2011.
He is also going to be touring the U.S.A in August 2011. Miami, San Diego , L.A & Vegas will be calling…
